SafePoint Scores on Interoperability Requirements

According to the Department of Homeland Security,

“It is essential that these [emergency response] communications systems be capable of interoperability…”

From the Department of Homeland Security web site:

“It is essential that these [emergency response] communications systems be capable of interoperability, as successful emergency management and incident response operations require the continuous flow of critical information among jurisdictions, disciplines, organizations, and agencies.”

With SafePoint, multiple agencies can share the same SafePoint infrastructure and display only their own agency’s radios. Additionally, the SafePoint system is designed to allow multiple protocols and/or frequencies to co-locate radio signals so that emergency response teams can manage personnel via a full-spectrum graphically-mapped picture of the team members in the field during any kind of incident.
