Manufacturer's Warranty

The Manufacturer’s Warranty is valid for 12 months from the shipping date of the DiagnostX instrument.

The warranty covers any hardware, software, and firmware defects that arise during the warranty term. Additionally, it entitles the customer to software updates released during the term and calibration performed every 36 months.

Under the terms, LocusUSA will repair or replace the instrument after examination at our determination.

Extended Annual Maintenance

The Extended Annual Maintenance (EAM) must be purchased when a DiagnostX instrument or system is sold to an organization or before the Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. The EAM is non-transferable and is only available to the organization that purchased the DiagnostX instrument(s).

LocusUSA will repair or replace the hardware, software, and firmware at our determination and after an examination. Additionally, the EAM entitles the customer to software updates and instrument calibration at the end of 36 months (if warranty coverage is current).

The instrument is not covered under either (Manufacturer’s or Extended Annual Maintenance) warranty if damaged by acts of God, power surge, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication, intrusion or exposure to liquids, or other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship.

To Get Service

For service, contact LocusUSA at 1-(888) 212-9117 (Toll-Free) or support@locususa.com to receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number to ship the instrument to LocusUSA for repair or replacement at no cost. Once the instrument has been repaired/replaced, it will be shipped back to the organization free of charge.
