Manufacturer's Warranty

The DiagnostX instruments Manufacturer’s Warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of shipment of the instrument.

The Warranty covers any hardware, software, and firmware defects that arise during the warranty term. Additionally, the Warranty entitles the end-user to software updates released during the warranty term and calibration performed every 36 months.

Under the terms of the Warranty, LocusUSA will repair or replace the instrument after examination at our determination.

Extended Annual Maintenance

The DiagnostX instrument’s Extended Annual Maintenance (EAM) must be purchased concurrently with the purchase of the system or before the expiration of the initial 12 months manufacturer’s warranty. The EAM is only available to the end-user to whom it was sold.

Under the terms of the Extended Annual Maintenance, LocusUSA will repair or replace the hardware, software, and firmware at our determination and after an examination. Additionally, the EAM entitles the end-user to software updates as well as the calibration of the instrument at the end of 36 months if warranty coverage is current.

The DiagnostX instruments are not covered by Manufacturer’s Warranty or Extend Annual Maintenance if they are damaged by Acts of God, power surge, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication, intrusion, or exposure to liquids or other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship.

To Get Service

To obtain service, you must first contact LocusUSA’s Customer Service at support@locususa.com or (321) 727-3077 to be assigned a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number to ship the instrument to LocusUSA for repair or replacement at no cost.

Once the instrument has been repaired or replaced, it will be shipped back at no cost.
