Regional Sales Manager (Full-Time)

Based in Melbourne, Florida, LocusUSA is a leading American R&D engineering company renowned for developing DiagnostX in 2009. This long-range, over-the-air radio waveform analyzer assesses a radio’s alignment and operational attributes in real-time without user intervention or system disruption, marking a significant advancement in radio analysis technology.

We are seeking a motivated and personable Regional Sales Manager with expertise in RF Technology/Two-Way Radio Communications to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our customers and drive business growth across the United States. Experience selling to local, state, or federal government agencies is highly preferred. This position offers a flexible work environment, with both on-site and remote responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships, assessing customer needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Attend industry conferences and user group meetings to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Deliver engaging and effective presentations with strong interpersonal communication.
  • Conduct training programs for new product users, ensuring they understand and benefit from the product’s capabilities.
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers.
  • Foster connections with public safety decision-makers at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, including transmitters, receivers, and antenna networks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality sales presentations in person or through virtual meetings.
  • Proven ability to prospect, follow up, and succeed in consultative sales approaches.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Conducts business with the highest ethical standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Keeps up to date with industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficient with PC and MS software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools as required.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Radio Frequency (RF) maintenance experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in LMR/Public Safety sales (preferred).

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Pay: $45,000 – $55,000 (based on experience), plus commission.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Paid Time Off: Includes sick days, vacation time, and 7 paid holidays.
