Polling
Polling is a feature requesting the radio system to require an individual radio and/or group of radios to transmit back to the system.
Polling is accomplished remotely without intervention by the radio user.
Locus SafePoint™ sensors receive the radio's transmissions and forward info back to the CAP where the radio's identification and location info may be viewed in real time on the graphical map display of the TrackerX application.
This feature can be customized to allow polling of specified radios, or groups of radios, automatically at pre-defined intervals or in a specific situation, like the activation of the emergency button.
